is there any new updates in work for the coal-trol? I have been wondering about the backlit display.

We do have some prototypes with backlighting on them and we've got plenty of other ideas percolating, but there are no plans on when we'll be making an update to the Coal-trol. The most I can say is that there will not be a new Coal-trol rev release this season.

I agree the Coal-trol is closed to perfect. I do like the stoker feature where you can give it a maximum feed counting down from 10 to give the house a quick warm-up when a cold rush has been added to the house. I wish the feature was closer to the top of the menu, instead of down so many levels. Keep up the good work.

I do the same thing with the FEED=10, then I put the blowers on FSM=99 for about 20 minutes, gets the temps up real quick!
