We are looking for a delivery of quality anthracite nut coal to Eastern CT area - Willimantic, CT. We have been burning coal for 20 years in a Northland boiler. When we began in the late 80's we had a fellow who would drive from Shamokin named John Sandry. The coal was the best we have ever seen, low to little ash and no clinkers. Unfortuantely, he stopped and we have not been able to get quality coal since. We are using a CT distributor of Blashak(?) but the quality is not there at all and the grates of the furnace are forever getting jammed with the clinkers. We burn approximately 20+ tons of nut a winter season....help!

Perhaps I can help you. We are in RI and can get coal to you no problem. We have Kimmels nut anthricite and it sounds like what you're looking for. I can deliver to you. As far as the price goes, I need to know how much you want to buy at a time. If you want, you can get a sample and try before you buy. Call Mike at 401 640 1237 Mon-Sat or 860 448 3781 @Home

If you are looking for bulk coal, I get mine, three tons of pea @ $245 a ton, from Phelps and Sons in Vernon, Ct.

I don't know what mine they got it from this year, but I'm very happy with it.
