Go mass!! Send the message. You all started this a long time ago and have been letting it slip away. Time to reclaim our country AND give us in NY some hope!! I've been throwing away my vote since I COULD vote and would like to see a little balance again. Go Brownie!!!

HYANNIS — The red, white and blue signs. Chants of "Yes We Can." People of all ages and races clamoring for one glance at the candidate.

It was state Sen. Scott Brown — not President Barack Obama — who received the rock star treatment yesterday in Hyannis, as several hundred supporters lined Main Street to cheer the Republican hopeful for the U.S. Senate on to victory against state Attorney General Martha Coakley.

The hefty turnout surprised some people, including police officers, as Main Street was down to one lane in spots and Brown supporters crowded in the street caused frequent traffic backups.

I was at the rally. It was the most electrifying crowd I've ever seen. Tons of democrats and union folks, independants, and people of all ethnic backgrounds. I had the privilege of being on the stage behind the podium. There were 2000 people in mechanics hall and another 2500 at the crown plaza hotel and still there were people outside watching the jumbotron. It's funny NECN forgot to mention that.
I got to meet some of Scotts family, Doug Flutie, Kurt Schilling, Lenny Claaak, John Ratzenberger, Ayla Brown (boy can she sing) and three other football players. :D
Here's a video that my brother took. As you can see the people were very Amped.

Kick ass! :punk: If Worcester was able to generate a rally like that, it's very good news for us. Worcester has a majority of libby libs ... as does anywhere east of there. :roll2:

Anyone know when the polls open? I want to be first in line! :D

Washington (CNN) - Multiple advisers to President Obama have privately told party officials that they believe Democrat Martha Coakley is going to lose Tuesday’s special election to fill the Massachusetts Senate seat held by the late Ted Kennedy for more than 40 years, several Democratic sources told CNN Sunday.

Some new poll said possible two digit win for Brown. I heard it on the radio and I forget the exact details but they said it not very scientific but very accurate.

I've been reading this thread for a while. I don't have
high hopes for Mr. Brown. Kennedy was elected time after time.
No matter what he did or who he killed. There had to be vote
manipulation going on for years. I don't think it will stop now.
But then again, hope springs eternal. God save us all.

Well, both campaigns called the house today urging me to vote, and if possible, for their ticket. It is going to be a squeeker
regardless who wins.
Kennedy was a force of his own. A leader who repeatedly took care of his people. He had the personality and will that would
fill a room. Even if you did not like his views, he would get your vote because he had the juice and used it to help the
commonwealth
The opportunity here is that Martha does not have that presence. Would she do a good job? Her record as a pit bull would
indicate she could. But you gotta get elected, and that takes more than being able, you have to connect with the people. She
has failed to do that in a meaningful way. Kennedy could connect with ease. Scott Brown is connecting with ease. That is his
edge. He has the package, and THAT is why he may win. The views and party are only part of what defines a candidate.
The other is charisma, and Kennedy had tons to spare. Scott Brown seems to have plenty as well, Martha has little to none.
Throw in a mistake or two on the campaign  , add a little Obama apprehension , and we have a horse race! :woot:
Kennedy got elected time and time again because of HIM, not his party. It is up for grabs.
