We got about 15 " here in Bucks County. They are calling for more on Wednesday. That 20.00 snow blower I got last summer starts right up and runs good so long as you don't try to go too fast. Then it clogs up. I think I got my moneys worth!!

Might want to shovel your roofs before this next storm hits. That's a lot of snow for a 1 week period. Just a suggestion folks.

That's sound advise. The wind blows so much up here there isn't any snow left on the roofs. But I did shovel off the back porch don't want thar baby coming off.sterling40man wrote:Might want to shovel your roofs before this next storm hits. That's a lot of snow for a 1 week period. Snow goes hand in hand with winter time .We have been long over due for some decent storms around this area.I can remember having over a foot of snow at different times and still having to go to school.Kids have it way too easy these days in that respect.I also agree with sterling about the snow build-up on roofs.I can get real heavy with multiple storms.

It's been snowing steadily for a couple of hours now - big fluffy flakes. It will be around a while seeing as the mess from the other storm hasn't even been cleaned up yet. The roads continue to be a mess. There is no place to put the snow once it's removed. I expect the schools to remain closed until Monday.
Let me say, school isn't closed for the kid's benefit at least in my county. We have to make those days up. School is closed here because 94% of the kids ride school buses and that's the way parents want it. The student transportation office receives countless requests to put kids on the buses every fall; even if that student's house is just across the street from the school. True story! The parents do not want the kids walking to school. As a side note, VA state law requires anyone living 1 mile from the school to be on a bus. Our county says .5 miles and you are on the bus. It's a huge budget killer but the parents won't allow any changes. Go figure, Lisa

I can't get over how much snow you guys are getting down south!! Insane!! It's gotta be rough down there -- I know your not really set up equipment-wise to handle this amount ... and yet you keep getting more!! I'm sure you all have become ardent Al Gore supporters as of late!
I guess MA is not going to be bypassed with this next round. Every time I check the snowfall potential map here: http://www4.whdh.com/weather/ : the amount we are going to get changes.
So one thing is certain: nobody knows how much snow we're in for tomorrow here in the not-so-great state of MA!
