Well this baby is coming straight for us. Nothing like a few days of numbing cold and top it off with a fresh 12-18"
of snow. Ah,,,,,there is no place like home! Smitty, I can not for the life of me understand why you would want to leave!

Can't speak for Smitty but for myself I would not have considered living anywhere other than upstate NY if I hadn't actually lived elsewhere for a while. When you live in a place for a long time it grows on you in spite of all the apparent disadvantages. It's human nature to stick with what's comfortable and known rather than try something new. Moving to a new area is a big change, one of the biggest we make.Paulie wrote:Well this baby is coming straight for us. Nothing like a few days of numbing cold and top it off with a fresh 12-18"

For myself, I plan to skiddadle south once my working days are over. Of course, it won't be the first time I've changed plans. Five years ago I would never have thought I'd be back in NY!

Snow just adds pages to my laundry-list of reasons to move ....Paulie wrote:Smitty, I can not for the life of me understand why you would want to leave!
Nothing yet here ... not even a dusting. I'm sure that'll change when I get up tomorrow!

I hear ya -- usually I get all the snow out here! This time it was the complete opposite -- I got an inch, while Worcester & Webster got about a foot!
