where to buy coal in middle tennessee? list sources please!!

friends.. due to higher prices of propane and electric heat .i have once again turned to coal because it is a good steady heat and the price is low per ton. to get my coal i travel into kentucky a couple hours drive to sampsons coal yard in owensborro. needless to say i would like to know of a coal supply near middle tn. please post names and phone numbers of these yards on this thread . it will help all us coal burners out here in and around nashville.thanks artie

I live in Springfield TN and currently buy coal here. I am new to burning coal but it is the closest I have found and it is good coal. $350.00 a ton. I don't know if that is good or bad price but it is saving me a lot of money over natural gas .

thanks so much cybdav i went there and picked up five bags of nut coal it is good hard coal from up north ,and it burns great.

We live in Nashville, TN and the old coal bin was full when we bought the house.
There has not been a coal stove in the house for years and years.
