Maybe somebody has an idea. I was one of the first to buy from Jerry many years ago. I bought a Pioneer (manual- at that time there were no thermostats) It always worked perfect for me and I even convinced the local coal company to be a dealer for Jerry. In conversations with Jerry, he tried talking me into getting a col-control but why change a good thing. I never had bad motors or fans . The Pioneer just keeps chugging along. Last week the local coal company talked me into trying the col-control on a trial basis. I had to redo(add) one of the motors with it's own plug to fit the col-control assy. but no problem.
Everything worked fine for 3 days- automatic... but now the time on the display is speeding. In a 12hr. time period it becomes 4 hours faster which makes the DAY and NIGHT setup worthless. I NEVER had a problem (manual) with my blower but now with the control it just about runs, but makes a lot of vibration noise and turns very slow when temp is set for 70, real temp shows 67, FR is 99. I disconnect blower from control and plug into wall outlet and it works perfectly, no noise just a lot of beautiful HOT air. Any ideas before I revert back to manual and return the control? Thank God I have yet to pay for it.
