Well, it was a close toss up. There are a few I would consider to be most outstanding, including LsFARM, who should have also been nominated. But, if I had to pick ONE from the list, which I did, it would be Freddy. From the looks of things so far, others must have thought the same.

Last year you guys had an outstanding member contest, and you elected an outstanding member!

This year it appears to be jaded into more of a popularity party

are you claiming freddy and matthaus aren't outstanding members. I think they both happen to be extremely outstanding in my humble opinion. They both offer lots of valuable information and insight. popularity has nothing to do with.

Sting i also think you are an outstanding member of this community, you have to be pretty outstanding to deal with me through 20 plus pages on the monoflow thread. we could only nominate one person, if i could of nominated more then one person i would of picked you as well.

Heck we even had devil505 nominated twice and he didnt even get put on the ballot.

The vote is not open to moderators, the only reason Matthaus and Freddy are on the list is because they were recently "upgraded".

Well I did manage to get my head up off the pillow by noon but didn't get around to getting online. Since Freddy already has special title I won't be changing it however in recognition of his efforts of making sure everyone has a cup of coffee Saturday morning I'm renaming the "Community Forum" to "Freddy's Coffee House".

What do these new lables tell new folks about this group - Is this just a tight click? No outsiders welcome? How do each of these thread names help people to understand where questions should be placed? Can we have a moderator for the toilet (ash dump) too?
