Coal-Trol install on Keystoker A150

Neil has helped me get my Keystoker A150 setup and it is working well so far. My settings are:

• min = 10
• max=92
• trbn=n
• hlf=0

I put together a PDF file for Neil of the install, stoker nut setting (1.5"), max burn, min burn, oil burner, and wiring updates.

The file is 25 meg because I didn't shrink the pictures, if you want lower resolution pictures let me know.

NOTE
I added a switch to stop the stoker so I could change ash pans without stuff falling; but found out later from Neil that the power switch on the Coal-Trol shuts off power to the outputs but not the thermostat (so I didn't have to be concerned with losing the time of day.)

FYI,
Coal-trol is working fine! It remembered its settings over the summer nap time.

I have to admit that starting the fire is a nuisance, so the igniter is a good idea. I experimented with match light charcoal this year, but went back to small kindling. Doing this once a season makes this just a small hassle though. (Maybe I forget how to start a good fire doing it so few times a year

Could you tell us more about your Keystoker A150 furnace? How many BTUs? How many CFMs from the convection fan? How many zones are you heating? How big is the coal hopper? Perhaps pictures of how you plumbed the furnace into your cold air return and hot air supply??

I have a Koker and I'm contemplating upgrading to an A150 in the future...

Warm Air Furnaces

* Five sizes available: 120,0000, 125,000, 150,000, 250,000, 350,000 BTUs (plus special 400,000 BTU unit available as custom order)
* Standard equipment includes: three Controls (Room Thermostat, Timer Combination, and Bonnet Control), Blower and Motor, Fibre Glass Filters, and one Ash Recepticle
* Available option: dual fuel unit burns either coal or oil

I just replaced an existing coal furnace with this one, so I matched the plenums to the A150, vs have new plenums made, so it isn't as pretty, but functional.
The hopper is quite big and can go a couple of days before filling. I got the one with the oil burner attachment too.
