In my case, I have a gas furnance (heating 2300sqft house) and am looking for a stove to tie into my existing ductwork to offset my PSE&G bill. Could someone recommend a perticular stove that comes with a ducting/shroud that will easily tie to my existing heating system?
If someone could recommend a stove and/or a dealer in the princeton area, I would be greatly appritiate it.
Welcome to the forum and sorry for the tardy reply. Busy time of year!
There are many options available for you to choose from. If you could give us some more information about your needs those choices can be narrowed down. "easily tie in" is a relative statement.
- Is your house new or old, tight or drafty, long/single story or two floors etc?
- Do you have a chimney available to hook the coal furnace to?
- How long will the furnace be left unattended?
- Do you want something that is automated or hand fired?
If you could post a few pictures of your existing furnace and the surrounding area, that will help with narrowing the suggestions down.
