yes we are onlyburning wood. It burns good but we can never get a bed of coals . I am using an automatic dratf control instead of a manual one. im ready to change it out to see if there is a diffrence. Also I get alot of creosote build up even with seasoned wood.

Hi
my name is Walter Lord ,I had a tasso wood boiler.the tasso made lots of crosote and need constant cleaning of the flue or it would have
stack fires that were scary.I recently found a add on catalytic combustor that may help but it requires a vertical section of flue ot install it in ,it was onlu like 199 dollars plus 50 shipping I for get who sells them but I found it online.I taded my tasso in for a wood pellet, boiler made by america's heat allot cleanner burning and cna hold 2 weeks woth of pellets a load, through our local boroughs wood stove excahnge program they are trying to get the air quality cleaned up so we can meet epa rules,Good luck
