Is there a Civil War coming to America?

Everyday the country gets a little closer to a war. Sooner or later some nut case is going to set it off. I only looked at the cover page by the oathkeepers,actually could be a good thing. In a SHTF situation the government is going to try to use are own military against us. If that doesn't work they will get the UN to do thier dirty work. Yes I think it's getting close. That's why ammo and guns are so hard to get. I hope 10 months go by fast. The next elections should right the ship ,inless it is sink before that.What the heck we're they thinking. :rambo3::rambo2: Are you armed? Don't tell the man.

Yup. They also amended the insurrection act (since reverted to original form).

The expansion of executive branch powers was the pet project of Dick Cheney. He felt the Posse Comitatus Act was archaic.

If Barack Obama does start a civil war it was George Bush and Dick Cheney who will have given him the power to do it.

Oathkeepers sound OK to me. It sounds more like they would work to prevent a tyrannical government assault on the people or a civil war.

These are the orders they will not obey:

1. We will NOT obey orders to disarm the American people.

2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people

3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to military tribunal.

4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state.

5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.

6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.

8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the peace” or to “maintain control."

9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.

10.We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

We don't want a civil war. The only reason for the US people to rebel is oppression of the highest order. Exercise your rights to protest and speak out; vote; be vigilant.

Absolutely! But my question is what made them feel strongly enough to start this group? They probably know some pretty grim details, IMO.

I think INTERPOL could careless about that list.

I sure as hell hope there is a war coming that will end this bailout crusade, this sucks! They should of let what ever was going to crash, crash and been done with it. Now everyday it's more cash to bail out something. I don't know about the rest of ya but I'm tapped the hell out! Had to sell the pot that I pissed in. No more friggin bailouts! If a business doesn't know what there doing well close, file bankruptcy, just don't ask me for no more money holy *censored* Batman I can't afford to pay for your Bat cave, Bat car, Bat bike, and Bat whore oops sorry Bat whoresssss!
Enough is enough and I'm keeping my money for my family not yours!

The problem with "conservatives" is they spend as much as liberals do these days.

The problem with America is that we vilify people we disagree with.

Sorry, I don't agree with that statement. Everyone and every group in the world villifies the ones they don't agree with. Don't bash just America for human nature. We are supposed to elect people that rise above petty squables and such. It is not working. Our Mrs Snowe is worth 51 million big ones. How do you suppose she got that? For her good looks? Her husband Jocke?

At the end of the day the citizens of Maine like the pork Olympia and Susan bring home so they keep sending them back.

Same thing happens in every state.

I spent alot of time looking up INTERPOL. The bottom line is , they don't have the manpower to do anything in this country. It would be shoot on sight. Their sissys , they be gone as fast as they came.

If a "conservative" spends just as much as a liberal they are not really a conservative. You are right about villifying. I'm upset with reckless spending period. I'm upset with the wolves guarding the hen house. I'm upset with the "whats in it for me" syndrome. I'm sick of our congressmen making backroom special deals. I'm feed up with our elected leaders giving our money away all around the world. I'm sick of the sound bite, "We are the richest nation in the world." What a joke. We are almost bankrupt! Lets borrow some more money from China and try and buy some more corrupt friends. They take the money and are laughing at us. Debt can be a form of inslavement. Just ask those past who owed their sole to the company store. There is plenty of blame to go around for the perdicament where in. If this country doesn't smartin up an start saying no to reckless spending I see nothing but bad things in our future. Look at what happened in LA and New Orleans. Can you imagine how badly people will behave if our finacial systems completely unravels. Why do we buy so much foriegn oil? How many billions have poured out of this country for oil? We have oil here. It is long past time to drill for it on our oun turf and refine it here too. That is part of our finacial problem. The environmental extremists have made it next to impossible to drill or refine here. It is finacial suicide to do it their way! There is more to rant about but I'm sure no one wants to read it.

I am sure you are right. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I am sure there are plans in place to seize/maintain power and control in a variety of SHTF scenarios. Some are probably good, some evil. Vigilance is required of the people. Governments cannot be trusted. The Founders made that clear.
