Sure looks like you've found the balance between Coal Burnin' and looking real good while doing it! How long have you had it all up and running?

Nice job on the setting you've installed it into. You ought to get some storage time with the masonry surround, kind of like a capacitor for storing and projecting heat evenly...

Ya know,Nick, this place seems to be all about learning and helping each other. A lot can be self taught by just reading the posts stored throughout this wonderful site. If you feel like it,start a new post here in the Ohio Section. Maybe we can kick it around with you and help you iron it out. Ken's right when he says to stay with it,and maybe we can help.

Bob , This room is only for us bucks. He would be better off posting in the forum under hand fired stoves. Then he will get tons of help. We still need a nice buckeye pick for our header. I thought the centenial on the barns would be cool. Theres one in Middlefield.

I think it would be a great fit. Last I checked,Nick from Astabula County (Snow Belt) Ohio would still qualify as a Buck......Sorry for being overly-help-full. This place brings out my good side.

Ken,
Since I spend all day driving around the county, I thought I'd keep my eye open for a special message painted on a barn. Darned if I didn't find one right away! I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I thought I'd submit it anyhow:
