I had subscribed once to his newsletter for I think 2 months. I download his radio show to my Ipod. they are free to download and there are several personalities to pick from.I prefer to pick stocks myself, so win or lose no one to blame but myself. I thought gs had room to run to $250. I don't get too nervous as I always follow a 7-8% stop loss. and I enter the stop as an order gtc. that way I let the market decide if I have a winner or a loser.in the last several months I have picked stocks that run a bit then turn around and zoom right back down. this market is erratic,

berkshire.b up in high volume trading friday.up +2.10 in almost 3 times avg.vol. thats a 12% runup since I bought. I wont lose any money on this trade as I have a stop in place to ensure that. I will think about taking some money off the table if the profit level reaches 20-25%.

How can this country prosper when we have this hanging over our heads. http://www.usdebtclock.org/ I listen to the talking heads on CNBC and most of them are putting a positive spin on things looking forward. I think they are either intentionally avoiding the reality of what all this debt really means. It is not sustainable. I really don't think this is going to end well.

berkshire.b still running up in price on solid up volume. thats a 16.64% gain since I bought on1/22/10. sry bout the bragging, but picking winners has been damn near impossible unless you can buy like a mutual fund then weed out the losers.I buy no more than 2-3 stocks at any one time,

brk.b price came roaring back today after yesterdays afternoon selloff. gained $2.17 today. you cannot find another company more american then berkshire.the volume action today was classic, price up volume up, price down contraction in volume, perfect.

The only winner I ever picked was Pixar. Bought at 3.5 and sold at 77 and change

nice on that pixar pick. I always put in a 7% stop loss order after I make my stock purchase.the only winners I have had in over a year and a half ( 15% gain or better) has been green mountain coffee roasters and brk.b. in fact brk.b was my first buy since 10/2009.

those sort of shennaigans is why I trade with stop loss orders. I always follow up a buy order with a stop loss order.they might knock me out of the trade, but with a small loss.
