Here's what you do, put a 10 cent per kilowatt export charge on all electric. Watch how fast them nimrods in California and New England change their tune.

Nimrods in New England? Heyyyy... I be one of them! LOL

Yup, for the last few years New England has gone along with CA to aim at low pollution. I've thought from the get-go that it's just political. It is so easy for us to not pollute.... The state of California has over 2 1/2 times the people of ALL of New England! The fact is, almost all of the bad air that we breath comes from outside of our area. The wind comes this way ya know! So, it seems silly to me. If New England dropped all air standards we still wouldn't pollute a lot. Besides, all of our pollution goes out to sea! What d they say..... Dilution is the solution to pollution! ;)

Two degrees this morning....even Florida is cold cold cold....yup, this global warming is killin' us.

Sad Times,Ken...........

As usual, the March continues to paint Americans as Knuckle - Dragging Idiots and reduce our standing on the Globe. Anyone with any common sense knows that you attract more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.

Regardless of your Political Persuasion,common-sense should prevail at times of National Crisis. We've got people,hard-working,dedicated,non-slug type people out on their keysters due to their jobs having dissappeared. They are making amazing attempts at keeping their Familiy together and warm under a roof. They aren't Enviromental Pigs. They don't have the cash for Fuel Oil or Propane. In the Urban areas, even the Natural Gas bill takes from food. We're not going to touch the Electric bill, but do buy a chinstrap for your hat, hang on,and be sure to keep your arms and legs inside the Family's Economic Vehicle until it comes to a complete and full stop. I can only sense the attack coming on coal, whether Anthracite or Bituminous.

As a kid,I can remember seeing some stoop changing his oil by the sewer drain in a K-Mart parking lot. He was a real stand-up dude...Unscrewed the Oil Pan plug and let the oil hit the asphalt...Dropped the filter and left it....

That was dead wrong......And now,so is this.

Remember, there's no sight like Anthracite......Hambden Bob....The Fledgling Newbie around here!
