Hit 3° this morning for the season low. Had the Harman's air intake 1-3/4 turns open. Was able to maintain 62° in the house, 48° on the second floor ....... but it's sealed off. ;)

Only got a 20 hour burn this time, due to the thing cranking. Could've went 24, but that just makes the oil burner kick on more due to the lack of heat output. Bring on the cold!

we had -4 here this morning, was warmed up to 0 when I fed the animals. Actually wasn't too bad because there wasn't any wind. I go through more coal on a 20 degree windy day than when it's below zero and still.

We had +4 degrees last night, coldest of the season. Furnace running at 80% throttle and doing fine.

And I agree, it's the wind that costs, not the cold. Ask any wine chiller.

On sunday, the 10th, I had -1* at 6:45 am outside but the house was down to a chilly 76* :( . It was ok though, I opend the stove and messed around and it was back up over 80 in no time... ;) I used to keep it anywehre from 70-80 in here with my stoker but with my new Hitzer 82FA, I'm not comfy unless its over 80! I know my stove is a little overkill but it's ok with me!

-8 at my place Saturday night on the 9th. Some people reported -18 in places around my area Sunday morning the 10th. :jawdrop: Fire up the K-6 in the workshop. It ran under full fire for about 6 hrs to get the workshop up to 58 Degrees!
