In thread after thread and post after post, you guys say those on the left resort to using diversionary tactics whenever you post something you perceive to be critical of the left or President Obama.

And so what do you do in this thread?

Fill it up with diversionary posts about those on the left you don't like but have nothing to do with the topic at hand - namely, Rush to Addiction trying to use race as a way to politicize earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

It's no surprise, of course.

Some Liberal stupidity for balance :

Danny Glover says : “When we see what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen, this is the response, this is what happens, you know what I’m sayin’?”

at the end around the 2min mark

Glover might be a good actor but he should either keep with that or know what hes talking about before opening his mouth. Where does he think all these hospital ships are going to come from? The Hope is there already & that is not a military ship, the Navy has two the Mercy & the Comfort both of which are ready for retirement but are also probably in the Gulf (just to remind people there is a war going on). Its esay to run your mouth but he should have done a little thinking first.

Hmmm. Is Glover a political pundit? Does he have a radio or TV show where he regularly expresses his political views?

Because, if he doesn't, it's not "balance" at all to post Glover; it's just another attempt to deflect from the Drugster's latest outrage. Hell, it would make as much sense to quote somebody here.

Actually, if one looks at the "dark-skinned, light-skinned" part of Rush's quote, it's quite apparent that he's intentionally stoking the racist fire by making reference to the latest debate about Reid.

NO IRONY HERE..

Rush Limbaugh Is not the PRESIDENT of the United States!
He's an entertainer...[ will anyone in their right mind defend the peace ambassador Sean Penn or the psychotic Janeane Garofolo]
Don't lose touch with reality...
He's not an elected representative and holds no appointments.

Why, perchance, are your cohorts getting all defensive and antsy about this post then? If he's just an entertainer, this thread should theoritically have fallen into the ignored category.

I can't speak for anyone else, I wouldn't wish to be so pretentious. I also would not choose to be lumped in with others as cohorts I don't like to be "BRANDED". Agreeing on some points of discussion and differing on others is OK isn't it?
I am not sworn to any political camp. Some will argue, just to argue. I'M OK with that too! I like to argue some points and others IDGARA...
Some of talk show types are "dead-on" some of the time...and other times they are damnably foolish

... and comedians have a way of keeping in perspective too. I can't figure out how to inbed a clip from Jon Stewart's The Daily Show but he's at his usual best whit with this clip at rounding this topic out.

Even with all the pomposity there is little likelihood of there ever being a more brilliant broadcaster than Rush. Any disagreement I have ever had is more a matter of degree.

Like him or not he is a genius.

Yes a legend in his own mind. You need to listen to the spin four a couple more years, then you'll get it. Like I said he is feathering his own nest. Why do you think the NFL wanted nothing to do with him??

I have heard him from the beginning. The reason the NFL backed out is because he had the temerity to say that McNaab was not as good as most others said. Naturally that was racism. He was too independent.

And of course he should not be paid what the market says he is worth. Lets stifle ability.
