Stove Safety Shuts DOwn Stove Needs Help

PostBy: traderfjp On: Sun Feb 11, 2007 10:45 am

Hi,

I have an Alaska Channing 3 stove and I had the ash door open while I was cleaning out the bottom area. The safety kicked in and shut down the blower and power to the unit. After closing the door and waiting a few minutes the stove has not come back on. Is there a re-sett switch somewhere?

Thanks

I'm guessing the stove has a power vent on it ! Look for a little metal box on the side of the stove. The box is about 3" square and stands out from the stove about 5" or so. Take the cover off and push the little red button in the center.

Thanks. After the post I found the box and pushed the little red button and the stove re-started. There is nothing written about how too resett the stove, in the manual.
