Hey *rockwood*,

They are selling and shipping to USA on ebay.

The shipping costs didn't look to bad...$129.00
I'm just not sure what costs US Customs would add on???
And we don't pay the European VAT since it is for EU export. :)

I got kind of excited about that add on stoker. What kind of problems would that design have burning soft coal? That kind of device would work for me because it could be installed in the rear of my boiler and it pushes ash forward. My fire box is like 45" deep so I could retain grates in the front half for wood and hand firing and it would still dump ash into my ash tray. Converting my boiler to a true underfed looks like would create ash removal problems in the back.
Berlin: what kind of design were you thinking of with fire brick and an auger for a poor mans stoker?

I like some of their design ideas, nice big ash pail and an auger to fill the pail. I wonder if they are out of business, the web links don't work.

This sites still work. http://www.lenzes.com/

http://www.wippco.com/
This link is broken, either the page no longer exists or there is some other issue like a typo.

Looks like the mfgr. stopped producing them...may be some existing stock out there.

I'm under the impression that people have had reasonable success burning stoker bit and wood pellets in underfeed anthracite conversion stokers.
