I only have to go as far as the first and only paragraph on your first link:

The World Health Organization's ranking of the world's health systems was last produced in 2000, and the WHO no longer produces such a ranking table, because of the complexity of the task.

One question. What is the republican plan for the health problem, do they even have a plan?

If you don't comprehend that, it's because you are unwilling to.

You haven't proved jack. If you think two data points constitute proof I weep for your clients. I'm sure after they get out of prison they'll be looking for you. By your reasoning if I happen to be near where a murder occurs, I must be guilt of murder. Let's say for the sake of argument, you are correct that dollars spent directly effects medical outcomes. By your numbers, countries that spend LESS money produce BETTER results. So explain how trillions more dollars are going to make things better? Shouldn't we spend LESS? Maybe we can start by eliminating Medicare and cut subsidies to Big Pharma. You might want to rethink this. Someone will think you are a conservative Republican. ;)

I haven't suggested that. Certainly we aren't getting out moneys worth but to suggest you're going to get better care in Cost Rica or Poland is a joke.

Frankly I don't trust the Republicans with this either. We need comprehensive reform across the board and I don't foresee either side taking the necessary steps to do what is necessary and right.

Looks like they want to shoot this plan down, then do nothing about the problem. Looks like the Rep's are not worried about it. Were they pushing a plan when they had control?

I agree but I'd like to see some debate and no back room deals. It has to work for everyone and we need to figure out how to pay for it.

Too many "special interests" for politicians to solve the problem. Add in the current Supreme court ruling, and we have
a real problem.

Forget the parties. Why don't we start with the same choices Congress has?

Then figure out how to pay for it. (Or we could use the Republican approach and not figure out how to pay for it.)

How exactly have the dems figured it out?

They already tried your way, it was called "The Soviet Union" and it didn't work out so well.

You can't keep taking from the producers to give to the moochers and looters.

Eventually, Atlas shrugs and the whole thing falls apart.

You guys act like this will "ruin" our "great" economy.

Couple problems with that: (a) our economy isn't "great" (in no small part because of ballooning health care cost and the burden of the uninsured), and (b) we're the only industrialized nation left on the planet which hasn't established a universal system, so it not only doesn't follow that it'll "ruin" the economy, the contrary actually is true.

That you guys cannot perceive the connection between (a) and (b) is astonishing.
