vent interlock?

I was wondering if threr is a way to bypass the vent interlock. i wanted to hook up my furnace to my chminey. when i went to unplug the direct vent and flipped the coal trol switch nothing elese would power up. can the vent be disconnected and the rest of the unit work?

Yes, I think you have to put the BYPASS fuse in the one opening for the vent fuse. Check the Manual, i think it tell you that.

Also, if you have had it unplugged, you may have to go into the SETUP and make sure the IGN? and N or OFF. (For ignition) that will turn everything off until it senses Ingition, which the stove don not have yet. I think the manual tells you that in the setup.

When hooking up to a chimney and disconnecting the fume switch, just short the two bypass contacts on the Coaltrol. The bypass fuse WNY spoke of is only present on the CM1 control module. For the Keystoker modified CM2-4 control modules there is no bypass fuse.

Probably worth giving the shop a quick call before doing anything in order to make sure you're shorting the correct wires. 315-299-3589.
