Really nasty, here in Western NJ. I had to walk our son out the driveway, to the school bus stop. Had a HUGE umbrella, but our legs were soaking by the time the bus came. Rain almost blowing sideways. At least its warm, almost 60F ! :o

I went up on the flat roof yesterday and slapped down some black tar roof coating. Glad I did, the roof isn't leaking for now. The roof has been leaking water into the front of the garage that looks like coffee! I built a false roof up front there years ago, right over the old roof, to put a pitch on it. It eventually got infiltrated with leaks due to my use of cheap HD roll roofing. The false roof OSB is rotted out under the roll roofing. Any oak twig that falls pokes a hole in it. I have to take the whole front roof of the building off in the spring and get rid of the bellies. I don't own the place and my landlady friend goes deaf when I mention repair money.

The place is creaking from the wind right now!

Seems to be over here. We had heavy wind and rain. I was out earlier to get a some coal and the driving was tricky in spots. It's 56 out right now.

52° here, 95% humidity, & just had a 24 mph wind gust below the tree line. Raining pretty good now ... looks like it just arrived.

My house is 70°! Boiler water was 220°! Wow! Heat to spare for a change!
