Tuesday is soon approching, will the groundhog see his shadow ?( 6 more weeks of winter if he does see it ) Do you base your coal burning tactics on this scientific breakthrough, far superior to the farmers almanac and the weather man (or woman). :D

I bet he wont see his shadow, since the govt told us before the winter heating season started that it would be a mild winter.

I say tell'm to go stuff it. Phil or Philamina is a long standing tradition and he/she is well cared for. I'd say they're in the best shape of any of those critters in PA where they are usually shot, run over, poisoned, drowned, burnt out, or gassed. For myself, used to trap them in have-a-heart cages and release them in the local state park. Very necessary since they were undermining my front porch and rear deck.
