Bill,
I restored a Kodiak II this Fall too. The #'s you show are almost identical to mine with my $10 magnetic stove thermometer. I also have one on the stack below the baro that runs from 140-200 depending on burn.

I love this thing.....used to buy oil or burn wood...no more.

Good to know I'm in the ball park, I hear you on oil and wood 8-)

Since it was in the 40's yesterday I turned the tab down one more from where I figure low was and it was running at 75* with a little tiny fire. I let it run that way for about 4 hours. Surprised me it would go that low.
