That's the message I sent via email to Levi Strauss & Co. Don't know if I can get used to the Wranglers, they are in the dryer right now. After many (too many) years of wearing Levi's exclusively, today I bought a pair of Wranglers. The quality is just not there anymore, the last 2 pair developed holes in non-wear areas and the fabric doesn't hold up. Usually I wear out the knees first, but the jeans made in Lesotho/Bangladesh/Dominican Republic just don't cut it. I also had a pair with one leg longer then the other, several pair, all the same size, that fit differently, some fit OK, some were practically falling off of me. Usually when they are worn out they become shorts, but I don't think the 2 most recent ones will make it that far.
If I could just get another pair of unwashed stiff-as-a-board, made in USA Levi's like I used to-that would be heaven.
It's been a fun ride, but it's time to move on.
Goodbye Levi's

I got the same problem with Dickies work clothes.
If they are all sized the same, why do they not fit the same ?????

I wore Levis from the time I was a kid up until a few years ago. No more, way too expensive for starters.

With my job I can wear jeans. I wear them 7 days a week, always Levi's. I know when they are not what they used to be. These companies have gotten so big they have lost sight of what made them what they are, despite what they may have on their web sites.
Wranglers are made in Mexico "with US materials", we'll see what happens.
Guess someone else noticed:

Poor quality control, poor materials, and cheap labor. If they are all sized the same, why do they not fit the same ?????

Thank you! I will be ordering from them, I'll also send the link to some of my friends that, like me, are fed up with foreign made clothing.

I switched to Carharts for the same reasons. Plus I'm offended by levi's current tv ads.

I'm too cheap to buy new... I stock up at garage sales every spring and summer.. I go through so many pairs of jeans around the farm, working in the shop, repairing trucks, and now with the gib house rebuilding project,, I've trashed at least three pair in the last 5 months
The smartest thing I did was to make sure my family knows my size and needs for each birthday and Christmas.. I usually get at least one or two pairs of Dickies, Carharts, or Eddie Bauer jeans.. often the flannel lined ones.. which I usually wear from November through March or April..
I've noticed the irregular fit as well. same jeans, same size, one pair falls off, the other I can't get on or can't button or zip. And I didn't eat a 5 course meal between each try-on!!

I can't believe the differences in sizes, the wife bought a bunch of dress pants (kahki? business casual type ie. dockers, etc..) and some buttondown shirts. All the same sizes and I tried them on, some fit perfect, some were tight and some were HUGE!!! Different mfr's, but GEESE.....
Yup, Levis were the only thing I would wear years....but now, whatever fits and at a good price!!

Between farming & being an old biker,Levi's were always part of the uniform.Great wear, great price,etc--then came college w/ the kids--I went to Walley -World & saw Rustlers for $9.00---Tried them on in the store--yep,you gotta do that!!Any way--the kids are done schooling--most did good others are suffering from a case of simple common sense--I guess I screwed them up--they are both paramedics--I know what they do--the college ones pretty much confuse me w/ what they do minute particle Physics--I barely made it through the 3 R"s Anyway went to TSC to get jeans what the h-ll happened w/ prices--I guess I was just destined to be a Rustler kinda guy--when they wear out,I buy more--momma lets me do 4 pr per yr.&the horses really don't care as long as I feed them
