Now I'm gonna say something nobody will like. What he wants to do is what we need. We will have everything he has laid out in the next 7 years mark my words. The media is not like it used to be where if you said something it was forgotten now it's all on tape. Just watch you will see.
Did you notice anything about the Giethner hearings today.....everyone there was saying the same thing A.I.G.s insurance arm was better than fine, it was AWESOME! Now you just wait till the company you work for comes to you and says......sorry but the insurance is going up....funny thought it was AWESOME!
You fellas need to start listening to the words.....CAREFULLY.....when a guy is getting brow beat the way Giethner was he is going to try and switch the eyes somewhere, just pay attention.
Another thing is, So the banks were in very bad shape, close to going belly-up, we put up the money, they paid it back, wow that was simple. So where did all the payback money come from? How did they make that kind of money and still pay out enormous payrolls and bonuses? Banks don't just bank anymore the invest in commodities that we buy, commodities that they buy cheap and then we have to buy high since they have run the price up. Who else has the money to escalate the price of oil and corn and everything else.
Come on wake up your friendly neighbor hood banker is making millions, no billions on you buying a loaf of bread. Look at the big picture and not at the pimple.

He was right on just about everything & spread it around evenly, had some for both parties, the supreme court & even the military. The problem is as shown already in some of this thread I think its going to be the same old crap, fell on deaf ears.

The real problem is he gives a real good speech but can't execute. He's been president for a year with control of the house and senate yet could not get his agenda done. He ceeded control of the health care issue to congress instead of spearheading it himself. They turned itinto a clusterf**k. He talks tough to banks but gave them billions. So far he's the third term of GWB. I think he needs to surround hmself with different people. He's received some bad advice and made some real blunders. He's got dems and reps mad at him.

When he said "We need to stop giving tax breaks to companys that ship jobs overseas", only the Dems stood up and applauded. Can someone tell me why? I don't understand. I think everyone should have stood up and applauded. :?

None of us should be in lock step with either the dems or reps. I stood up on that one too. We're at I think a unique time in U.S. political history. People are mad, and afraid and they are going to hold some feet to the fire. If politicians "get it" they will start responding to the peoples will or they may soon be out of a job. I've never seen in my lifetime as much policital involvement by people not normally engaged since the anti war movement of the 60's. We live in interesting times.

The latter part of this paragraph is the goal of the Revolutionary Marxist and Communist sympathizers :

Hamilton had written that through the practice of judicial review the Court ensured
that the will of the whole people, as expressed in their Constitution, would be supreme over
the will of a legislature, whose statutes might express only the temporary will of part of the
people. And Madison had written that constitutional interpretation must be left to the
reasoned judgment of independent judges, rather than to the tumult and conflict of the
political process. If every constitutional question were to be decided by public political
bargaining, Madison argued, the Constitution would be reduced to a battleground of competing
factions, political passion and partisan spirit.

Most of you people really don't get it do you. Lets all answerer some basic questions about what has happened over the last year and a half, yea year and a half not just a year.

First, When did this financial fiasco begin, oh that right with at the time President Bush (remember drinking bankers)
Second, Why has all this money been spent by our government and not by other governments, yes you guessed it we done screwed everybody, made them think they be getting a real bargain in paper, better than gold even.
Third, Use a little common sense fellas, if I were to screw you bad enough to where your home car and everything you are going to make in your lifetime is in jeopardy what would you do. Thats right you would be fighting mad wouldn't ya. Well guess what thats whats going on here. There trying to stave off a war fellow coal burners, a war of epic proportions. Epic because it wouldn't be us and others against a small country like Germany or Japan or even North Vietnam. No at this point in time we are the ones that did the stealing/slanted the view of the paper we were selling, and the rest of the world is pissed, and I do mean pissed! The war would be us against all of them, oh and need I remind you that they hold a lot of the deeds yes deeds that would hold up in a world court.
Come on you have to look past your nose hairs for once in your lives and see whats really going on. I know, I know I like it when things are spelled out for me too but sheesh get a grip fellas.
