"Catcher..." is on every list of the best 100 english novels of the 20th century....and maybe of all time.....
Not too shabby for a novel written in 1951....and it still resonates today....angst is angst....
I wonder how many manuscripts will be discovered now that JDS died....stay tuned....

I probably read it at least 100 times, I have it around here...somewhere...
The article says he continued writing but never published anything. We'll see.

100.....very impressive.....I'm sure of 5 or 6 and not in many years....I'm over due for a read....I'll try to catch up....now where is that dog eared copy???
