Loose Ash Door Gasket

Loose Ash Door Gasket

PostBy: imshearer On: Sat Jan 30, 2010 1:53 pm

I'm in the middle of my second year with a LL Pioneer. The gasket on my lower door for removing ash has come unglued from the door itself so that whenever I open it, the gasket flops out. Is there some kind of product I could find at a stove store that is made for this, or other suggestions? Any one else had this problem?

Yes, they make a gasket cement available at most stove stores or a hardware store that sells accessories.

You can use Pro-seal or other 500* RTV found in your local auto parts store, also as Dave said you can get adhesive for stove gaskets at most hearth stores.
