Now that picture of B.O. sitting with his feet up is being disrespectful, its hardly a formal meeting. How many here had never sat with their feet up? And then to say that it is disrespectful in over half the cultures of the world, just what in the hell do you want this guy to do maybe he should consult with some here before he does anything. All of a sudden you believe disrespect matters to the rest of the world but if a man bows to a leader in another part of the world where it is considered a sign of respect you say that hes unpatriotic a socialist & who knows what else, I just wish that some here could decide what they want or at least man up to what really bothers them.

Compared to the *censored* stains left by Clinton I suppose it could be slightly less offensive to put your dirty feet on a 130 year old artifact.

Then again, when Gordon Brown visited 0bama and gave him an ornamental pen holder made from the timbers of HMS Gannet, a sister ship to The Resolute, (which was used in anti-slavery patrols along the coast of Africa and acted to rescue people from 0bama's homeland of Kenya), and at the same time, Brown gave 0bama the original framed commissioning papers for The Resolute, 0bama returned the favor by presenting the Prime Minister with a library of DVD's in region 1 format that don't even work in the UK.

samhill &jeromemsn???--I think the point trying to be made about the the picture is that it is rude!!I'm in my 60's & was taught to have respect/manners ex: taking my hat off when inside,hold doors open for a woman or whoever actually,sitting down w/ the family for meals(yup,all together) NOw,having been on our Town Board in a Town of about 1000--even after the meetings were over & none of the Town folk were still at the Town Barn--I can't imagine putting my feet up on the table--just not real professional --I guess some folk fall back on the addage that ignorence is bliss--I don't buy it--I didn't vote for O'bama,but I'm a good soldier--my respect was given on a--let's see what he does concept--weeeeelllllllll he hasen't done crap to help any of us farmers out here in my part of the world--he needs to regroup & start thinking about the working grunts out here--this stuff tires me out--as in helpless & the powers to be don't seem to give a rats ass about anything but themselves

your opinion is always so colorful mr hill!! theres no all of a sudden with my beliefs. They are the same as they were as when they were instilled in me by all of my elders who by the way all served proudly and honorably for our countries ability to hack away on a keybord and try to constantly undermine values which still exist and which will always defeat the bottom feeders opinions

As a farmer Fred what has he done to hurt you? Its only been a year & he has been just a tad busy, that group in the oval office looks to me like a few of his staff not quite the public. Their little meetings I would guess are pretty intense & constant, I for one would be taking a break any time I could. Certainly with a group of friends, heck if the mood was light enough they might even sugest that he practice the correct way of saying "corpsman".
