Yes, listening to Bush mangle the Kings English was certainly discomfiting....

I`m not defending him just putting out there what seems to be a trait with most AAs I know, there are words that they pronounce kind of like they are spelled. Ambulance, aunt are two right off the top of my head, also I worked for a foreman in the mill that said debris just as its spelled, don`t really know if they are right & most of us wrong or just too set in their ways. When you think about it English is a very difficult language.

Everyone who has ever watched a military movie would not mispronounce 'corpsman'. The language we abuse so badly sure can be difficult at times, but millions of GI's over the years were sure damned glad to see a 'corpsman' running to them when they have fluids escaping their bodies or those of a friend. No opinion other than 'someone' hasn't been around military things much, if at all. I make no political comments, and 'W' had a 'stumble or fifty' occasionally, and smitty has good ole 'mumbles the mayor', soooooooooo.................

Now everyone here that complained when Bush mispoke & it was pointed out decided its ok, so then I guess it was ok for the Dems that did it. No thats right Rep.s good-Dem.s evil. I guess its a way of changing the subject. I don`t recall ever crowing about how smart he is, the Rep.s do that enough for all of us. Maybe the Rep.s are just ashamed of having had a functional acoholic idiot as a leader.
