Nawwww, we got ours 5 years ago when I renovated the kitchen. Cooks as even as a gas cooktop, uses 30% less electricity than elements, and stays cool to the touch (kids won't burn their fingers). Built it into the counter.

ohhh yeah have the built in stove top too just 30 seconds for small pot of water maybe...

like those "pledges" for jerry's kids havnt got a bucket nor a window to throw it out of yet..... :(
