Coincidentally, these are also the two things O is good at and look what that got us. A President that cannot even get legislation passed through a majority D Congress. Reach across the aisle!? Apparently he can''t even reach across the seats in the same row on the same side of the aisle.

There is no substance behind these two curtains, if she and O are running against each other in 2012 it should be called the Land of Oz election.

There needs to be frank and very raw discussion regarding the promissory notes that have been written.

They are due and they cannot be paid.

The level of indebtedness has exceeded entire National GDP's.

The systems and rules will have to be restarted, good luck getting everyone to agree and avoiding a major war.

I'd like to see you start running your jaw about
President Chuck Norris writing notes on his hand,
chances are he would have them on the bottom
of his right heel

This way he could see them better as your head
snaps around and your forehead gives him the
"cliff note". Prolly be the same all the time.....

Everyone with "looser" imprinted......
Chuck couldn't run tho......
He never runs!!!!!

The conservatives love to point out that Saint Ronnie cut taxes. That's true. But they tend to ignore the fact that he also raised taxes to try to counteract the budget deficits he created with those tax cuts.

Due to Reagan's "trickle-down economics", cold war related defense spending, U.S. trade deficits, Savings and Loan crisis the National Debt was raised from $700 Billion to $3 Trillion. (more than tripled).

Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982. TEFRA—the largest tax increase in American history and took back many of the business tax savings enacted the year before. It also imposed withholding on interest and dividends, a provision later repealed over the president's objection.

In 1982 Reagan supported a five-cent-per-gallon gasoline tax and higher taxes on the trucking industry.

Reagan called for, and received, Social Security tax increases of $165 billion over seven years. A year later came Reagan's Deficit Reduction Act to raise $50 billion.

The Tax Reform Act of 1986 shifted $120 billion over five years from visible personal income taxes to hidden business taxes. It lowered the rates, but it also repealed or reduced many deductions.

Taxes by the end of the Reagan era will be as large a chunk of GNP as when he took office, if not larger: 19.4%, by ultra-conservative estimate of the Reagan Office of Management and Budget. The so-called historic average is 18.3%.
I understand that many people disagree with my choices and I accept that, as long as they understand that I may disagree their choices.

Lewis Black does a great bit routine about bringing back a dead Ronald Reagan - Re-elected as president - Stuffed and placed on display to scare our enemies.

Because he did such a good job (scaring them) when he was alive.

Good stuff :D
