They sure did. If Porter wouldn't have had that interception for a TD, it may have turned out very differently. Congrats to the Saints. They deserve it.

Good for NO. I was hoping the Colts would manage a turn around after NO put on that smooth as silk passing drive at the beginning of 4th quarter, but when they intercepted and ran in for a TD I got up and drove back home. :)

But what about the rest of the thing? Horrible commercials this year. One good Doritos commercial toward the end, another decent one at the start, leno/oprah/letterman was funny, one or two okay ones and the rest bit. When a local pizza join commercial can rank during the night, there's something very wrong in marketing and advertising land. The Who... fantastic light show and stage, I liked that they didn't use the traditional lame fake crowd around the stage gimmick, but horrible sound production (mix was all wrong, guitar kept cutting out), and the guy can't sing that way anymore (though amazingly he did manage to do pretty good on the scream). He needs to adjust his style to his aged larynx.

Never did see the pro-life ad that got so much media attention leading up to the game. Did it air in the last 5 minutes of the game?

I remember seeing it very early,he was with his Mom in it....Not shabby, just common sense. As far as the game went,I thought it was ok. For a while there,I thought I was watching the Browns with all the finger tackles and N.O's defensive secondary acting like they took a nap.

I liked it, good game! Who was good, damn guy on the sound board needs to be shot! 3 million for a 30 second commercial that you son or daughter could of made in the back yard, wow whats this world coming to. Bring back the frogs Bud sheesh, I thought they were bringing back the Marlboro man there for a minute. What the hell does a long horn have to do with beer? At least the frogs sounded like a good belch....pardon.

Ah, yeah it aired at the beginning of the game. I missed the first 10-15 minutes (work is never done).

I just watched it online... It was a totally innocuous ad, as expected. Good dash of humor. Of course it was so non-controversial as to be without apparent purpose. Can't imagine it's airing drove too many people to the web site, though the hubbub in the days leading up to it probably did.

The ad that will probably generate the most commentary in the media will be the Jetta/TDI commercial that aired toward the end, the one with the "green police".

They cut the cameras away from him at that part, I think it was canned. Having said that he didn't sound that bad.
