:funny: Your not gonna get a Smitty nature pic without something motorized being involved! BBUUUAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!

Decided to take a little solo jaunt on the Polaris today to blow off some steam ... much needed, BTW. Came across a swamp that became a small lake, due to some beaver activity. Took some pics. Had a blast out there -- was like my own private lake! :D No tracks, except lots of coyote. Probably not the smartest thing, since my machine weighs 800 lbs without me on board. But I didn't go through! Safety isn't my strong point ...

Even shot some video. One handed, sideways at 30mph. Sober too! :o

I love my Polaris! :D

Thanks!

I hear ya! The pic doesn't do it justice -- that tree was at least 30" around. Biggest tree I've ever seen them try & tackle!

I'm gonna fix the sound issue on the vid now ...

See all the snow on that first pic? That was all from the front wheels! Had it in 4x4 so I could get some traction. Those tires sure kick the stuff up!

I was just reading about these beavers ... because I wasn't sure if they hibernated or not ..... and saw no possible way they could enter or exit that pile of sticks & mud frozen block-solid. I guess they are so insulated inside there that they can still dive for food, & have little "rooms" in there for drying off, etc.. So the little guys are actually awake in there! I saw all kinds of coyote prints all around & on top of their house there ... no chance of getting in. Was like a brick fortress with all the frozen mud & sticks. Smart little f 'ers!

I was going to make a jump out of it, but I figured some treehuggers would see my tracks & start yet another anti-ATV crusade ... I controlled my urges for the greater good!

Just yesterday I helped a neighbor get a quad out of Pymatuning Lake, he was lucky that it was a shallow point & it didn`t go totally under. The idiot was complaining that he was given about $350.00 in fines already & had more coming in. The rangers gave the guy a break, as high as the guy was they could have hit him with DUI & taken both his quad & truck plus the drugs he tried to pay my neighbor with.
