Pex vs. copper

Pex vs. copper

PostBy: WNY On: Thu Feb 11, 2010 8:21 am

I tried Pex, but didn't like it, so I put in Copper.....(just kidding). I found these when researching piping systems on the 'net.

WOW! Phew....I hope these are not anyone on here. :) Enjoy. I know these will get a few comments.

WOW!! The contrast is unbelievable. Do you know the owner of the first piping pic? Always black iron or copper manifolds at a minimum........piping is another story. Seems like copper is going to be darned near as valuable as gold....well not quite.  :D

PS: Hope the guy who did the first install isn't a heart surgeon or a brain surgeon! There is some chance he is a member of the current 'treasury expertise team', however.

When pex gets to 180 degrees, it's softer than a sneaker full of baby poo-poo. Hangers would have helped, but at least pex-al-pex, properly supported.......would have met the 'appearance quotient!
I know, it is in operation at this moment, so please don't reveal the owner!!!!
How do you like working with the hopper on your hybrid? Still need an auger changeover to make you 'complete?'
I guessing you have never been so comfortable at such an affordable price.
I may be headed your way next week, but this time I'll give you a heads-up as to when. D
