AQUASTAT

With using a 80 gallon hot water heater as a storage tank i am going to place a well in the spot where one of the heating elements were to place an aquastat in. The question what Honeywell aquastat would I use?? I will be using a circulator to circulate the water between the tank and through a domestic coil through my efm520 (yes they will be bronze flanges and pump) would just a Hi Lo one work?? I want the circulator to stop circulating when the setpoint of the water is achieved. I will set it around 150 and when the water hits 150 the pump will shut off. any info is appreciated in advance!

Honeywell l4006a contacts open on rise. Take a look on pexsupply.com they are adjustable up around 240 260 and some have adjustable differentials 5-30. I believe the immersion wells are all sold separate 1/2 or 3/4.

Honeywell or White Rodgers strap on works fine for the job -- This is mine, Wired to open on temperature rise. I also stuck the probe of a used temperature tattletale behind the switch to report its operation. This has been since cleaned up a bit and the tank was replaced with a larger one -- I also added a thermomixing valve along side - in place of a second tank - to provide a bit more GPM of hot water.
