I'm running 3 groupes of 7 pins, 10 minutes apart. But I have a Kaa-2. Your stoker is designed differently. How many, and what placement in the timer does KEYSTOKER recommend for your boiler? Read my post below "Kaa-2 timer pins". It may help you better understand the function of controls, and theory of just how the KEYSTOKER boiler runs.

2 pins every 15 minutes. Aquastat set at 170* low and 190* high. Burning about 70lbs per day right now. :D

I have been running 3 pins 15 minutes apart for my shop.

150 low, 180 high

Space thermostats set at 45 deg. F. in shop.

Been running for days with very small fire. No heat dump occuring. Occasional call for heat to maintain 45 deg. Snowing and blowing outside.

Used about a bucket of coal in the last 3 days.

i am running 4 pins 15 apart.low 170 high 190. use anywhere from 40 to 80 lbs depending how cold it is and how many showers and laundry we do.on pace to use about 5 1/2 ton for the year.when i bought the ka-6 2 years ago the dealer said i would use between 5 and 6 tons so i guess this good.will be way cheaper than fuel oil thats for sure.hope to never burn oil again.
