So I should stay home? How many men are planning on coming over?coal berner wrote:I see Two things that might stop this from happening one insurance Co needs to release contents from property second
SNOW SNOW SNOW & More SNOW other then them two small things I don't see a problem moving it out
Other then to many people getting in the way like tripping over one another There should be only two guys breaking
down the unit and moving it on pipes over to the steps or the hole in the floor leaving the crane to do the lifting
then putting into a truck or trailer taking it over to the other house getting it off the truck with planks & down the steps with a winch and rolling it to it's new place on pipes a good 3 to 4 hrs tops Tools needed Pipes for rolling the unit across the floor 2 or 3 good 5' or 6' pray bars for lifting the boiler up to slide the pipes under it two good 2" x 8"s or 2" x 10"s 8 10 or 12 Ft long & a few short ones 3 to 4 Ft and a good winch for going down the stairs with the boiler Oh a engine hoist is nice to but not really needed .

So far it's woodandcoal and yourself. 1 more would be good.
I realize you two are coming pretty far, the help is appreciated but truthfully I don;t need it that bad. If you want to back out that's fine.

So far, the snow has been a bust. I'll be there to watch Jay & John grunt it out.

Here's the directions from I-81:
You're going to get off the Pittston exit, exit 175 going North or Exit 175A going south.
You'll be on 315 at this point. In either direction go to the first light which is Oak Street, note there is a light at the end of the 175 exit so it would be second light. If you got off exit 175 make a left. If it's 175A make right.
Go about 1.5 miles down Oak Street, that road terminates at the Pittston Bypass. Make a right onto the Pittston Bypass. Go to first light at William Street and make left. Follow William St. to the first light and make right onto Main St. Pittston.
Again go to first light and make left to go across the concrete bridge. Immediately make a right after the bridge onto Susquehanna Ave. You'll be going along the river now. Make the left at first stop sign onto Linden St. House is about half way down the block on the right.
If anyone need different directions let me know.

If you got there 9, 10, 11 etc no big deal. We might be moving this up to next Saturday because of the snow. I'll let you know as soon as I know.
