I got an old 8 track you can throw in Fred, the kids will think its something new. Might even have a reverb to go with it.

If you're feeling left out feel free to come up here - you can plow me out with the tractor. (Sorry - no cab!). I already have some 2-3 feet drifts. Tomorrow morning will be interesting. I really don't like throwing the snowblower on until the wind dies down but it's going to be too deep to use the backblade down to the pastures............ (Sound like fun yet??)

Forecast revised, a little more snow. :D Guess I'm be on "Old Blue" in the morning. :D
Tonight: Snow and areas of blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 27. Breezy, with a northwest wind between 21 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Lost power for 2 hours this afternoon, got to practice lighting the stoker when I arrived home.

Yeah, thats what I have been waiting for, with this heavy snow, we are bound to lose power anytime. Got the UPS setup for the DVC-500, and the genny ready for the house.

I guaranteed myself NOT to lose power by makig a gas run for the generator. Works every time :P

To get the generator out of the barn I have to move one of the JD 316 tractors first. Both back tires are flat. Since I have done nothing yet a power failure is almost guaranteed. If I moved the tractor and got the generator ready to go the power would stay on.
Every so often the lights flicker.

Getting pummeled with rain and heavy winds. Water coming in the basement, power still on so far so the sump pump is running for now.
