Bags of Superior Coal

Is there any place that sells Superior rice coal in bags. I am wanting to try in and would like to pike up around 4 bags. I will be working in the Sunbury to Mt.Carmel area next week so any hardware/feed stores around that may sell bags in the area ?

I personally dont know where or if you can buy superior rice in bags, maybe?

But a suggestion ... would it be possible to go to superior and just get 4 five gallon bucket fulls and put them in your car or truck.

Or you could just go to UAE harmony mine in mt carmel and pick up some rice coal there and load it into buckets.

Superior does not bag coal. Most coal sold in the Sunbury, Mt Carmel area would be bulk delivery. If you have your own containers (barrel, buckets, bags) they may let you fill them yourself at the breaker. It would not hurt to ask, worst thing they would say is no.

you can bag your own off the stock pile just go into the scale house they will tell you where to go

I bag my own coal at my supplier. I cut the bottom out of a 5 gallon bucket, and use a 50lb plastic weave feed bag and clamp it to the inside of the bucket, it works good. I can do 10 bags in about 20 minutes. I get superior coal from kuntz and son's near hershey pa., it is $10.10 per 100 lb pickup. They also sell blaschak at a higher price.
