Our phone company just reminded us to sign up for the National "Do-Not-Call" list. It was really easy, took 60 seconds.

did you know that he registration for DO NOT CALL is only good for 5 years and needs to be renewed?

also that the DO NOT CALL does not apply to:

1> business phones
2> political parties
3> calls from outside the USA - hence you will still get calls from rama-dama-ding-dong in India, calling himself "John".

The very first paragraph in that link:
Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008. Read more about it at http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2008/04/dncfyi.shtm.

I believe what you are referring to is the exclusion of business's that you previously did or are doing business with.
