N-Scale trains

N-Scale trains

Fred wanted to see some trains. Theres still tons of work to do. Need build a mountain by the coal mine. Paint the pink stuff earth brown. Weather all the buildings. List goes on and on. Takes years to do this. Keeps me busy in the winter. :) We all like pics , so here goes.

Ken,that's excellent--you are right,my father worked on his set up for yrs--every time he thought he was close,he had another idea & away he went--if my memory serves me,he started w/ a 10X10 area,bought,at the time,I think everything Lionel had to offer building wise (I keep thinking,Small Town or Smallville was part of it--then he went at it w/ mts,bridges,tressles & all that stuff I know your familiar with---another of lifes many addictions---maybe I'll get some trains & spend some time away from this Site :flex: I don't think so,who would keep an eye on SMITTY :cheers: I love the coal mine set up

I have all HO stuff, been in boxes for years. Will get to it someday. Need to get it out of the folks attic sometime. It was a pretty good size layout, 3 levels, etc....

After several good whiskeys we could lay 100 miles of those little tracks all over the place! :D



I like that full scale! 8-) But I think whiskey & one of those would cause massive destruction! :o :)

I think it was the Betsy Ross bridge from Philly to Jersey--they were a bit off on thier planning :o --SMITTY,we got that potential right here :shots: Hey New Hope,now that's a TRAIN--the engineer looks sooo life like :clap:

New Hope Engineer , that has to be awsome to drive that engine. Heck I'd be happy shovling coal just to be moving on her. :D I don't think it will fit in my kitchen though. :shock:

it is alot of fun but,in the summer it can kick the sheet outa ya on a 95 degree day with high humidity!
smitty, you can always have your whiskey after you get done playin with the oversized train set! ;)
