Another one for index page

Here's another subject line for you to ponder. How about "creative ideas". Or "Creative modifications". Or "coal heating modifications". Or heating tricks. Or something on that order. I've read some very good ideas on this site. The most recent one is in "Hand fired coal stoves" , titled "BOOM". Where markviii talked about drilling holes in the bi-metal controled flapper door of his HITZER #82, in order to keep a little air flowing all the time. That struck me as a very good idea. The problem would be; Not all good ideas are good ideas. The higher ups on the site may have to monitor the ideas, and weed them out. Or, maybe have an area were members can vote on a idea. ????????????? Maybe this new subject line is one of the bad ideas?

I'm thinking it would be good,me knowing nothing on this site is gospel,and consists of other coal burners experiences with thier particular stoves,or stoves they are familiar with--I have acquired a wealth of knowledge here,but also have the common sense to know when something ain't right for my particular situation--I always tend to look at what stove someone has before I get to excited--example,I posted some info on a stove/boiler I thought I was familiar w/but found I wasen't--I re-posted & apologized & backed out of the discussion--so many people are so hung up on liability issues,I sometimes get nervous doing anything--helped some kids in a car wreck here on the hill---my friend was afraid I might get sued--I was afraid the kids were hurt--this site is about sharing knowledge--I beleive it's referred to as freedom of speech--the ground rules are laid out & I think it works real good---just one old mans opinion that has gotten through my first coal burning season without blowing myself up or getting monixed-----something to be considered P.S. just got done drilling holes in my flapper--what a great idea
