Download cell pic to pc

PostBy: peterk1 On: Sat Mar 13, 2010 9:49 am

I"m new to the pc world, is there a way to download my cell pics to my computer? I don't want to lose them when I up grade to a new phone, and don't want to lose numbers and games ect. It's probably not that hard I just don't know how. Any advice would be helpfull.

Thank you

You could use your phone to email the pics to your normal email address.

You could get a data cable (some phones use a mini usb plug) but that depends on on the phone, check out the website for the phone.

If the phone has a Sim card, copy everything to the Sim card and put the Sim in the new phone.

Bring the phone to the (verizon, att, or whoever the carrier is) store and have them transfer the files for you.

Hope this will at least get you started.

My wife just changed phones last month. When she received the new phone it had instructions on how to download the old phone info to verizon via the internet and load it back on her new phone. I guess it worked because she hasn't said a word about it.

All my pics in today's Saturday Coffee thread are from cell phone pics emailed to my computer.
