Hi, the present is to thank all of you who offered their good words about the lost of my sister. You know, when you lose a member of your family it's even harder when that person had a physical handicap...and you remember all what she had to overcome during her life...
From my wife, my family and myself the biggest thanks for you .

Very sorry for American miners in the W.Va coal mine
Salutations from Canada

Hand Fed Coal Stove: Harman Mark 3 Top Flue

Post by MURDOC1 » Sun. Dec. 12, 2010 1:45 pm

No, I don't think hand fired coal stoves are ugly, for the most part the ones that I have seen are at least fairly apealing to the eye... I do prefer cast iron over steel plate... For instance, I own 2 matching Franco Belge hopper fed stoves, model # 144.08.02... I find them to be very beautiful and will put them both together to make one good one someday... I want that stove in my home someday as a conversation piece/focal point...

As far as automatic stoker stoves- Harman Magnum Stoker

Wood burning stoves- Jotul all the way!!!

Hi Murdoc, I agree with you, Jotul makes nice wood stoves. One good point for Jotul is that they make nice and working wood stoves. Plus Jotul stoves are simple to use.Lot of wood stoves are not easy to work with: catalytic, down-draft(V.C.ever-burn...), horizontal-combustion...some stoves have so much parts in them to complicate the job.
