It's been pretty good around here. The family and I went to a sugar shack two weekends ago and they told me it was great weather for it. Maybe it just wasn't long enough?

You know NYS weather--right over the hill from us,the corn is always about 2' taller then ours--then over the other hill,we're usually a foot taller then them--I'm talking within a 5 mile radius :)

I looked into New Zealand too. They have pretty tight immigration laws. Because they have universal health care, you can't become a citizen if you are overweight. I might have to drop a couple pounds before I apply for that passport. :D

Sounds like New Zealand has a motivational plan--I'm amazed how many people in just this area are on welfare because they are obese---can't go looking for a job cause they can barely get up :(

I know of one politician who recommends the 57th state of the union. The one where all the Army Corpse Mans retire to.

I was talking to a guy today. He was telling me about Belize in S. Amerca. He says he know some Americans who retired there and just love it.

Belize is the former British Honduras so they speak English and the poeple are friendly too. I've heard similar comments but have never been there myself. The furthest south I've been is Cancun but it's not too much farther so I imagine the weather is similar; warm to hot with lots of rain in the summer. Not a bad change from here where it is frigid to hot with rain in the summer. :D

What kicks my ass is I used to live in AZ! I was already there! Then somehow my head ended up in my ass, & I found myself in CA ....... then after that state bled me broke, back in this political *censored* of MA.

It's such a catch 22 though: had I not come back, I wouldn't have met my wife, & probably still wouldn't have been able to afford a home. I'd be renting in some *censored* city .....

I guess I just have to deal with these damn liberals long enough for my wife to retire. Then sayonara MA! I'll never set foot on this land again.

Jpete, that was a good read. Many times that grass shack is not greener on the other side. Smitty, sometimes Life can be a circular track. Good to see that you have high value for having met "The Bride". Maintain yourself, and you can damn near live anywhere due to your code. Lose your self, and you could be in Heaven and not know it. Stand fast,Mate's,and ride out all storms ! Arrrgghhh ! Where's your buccaneers? Aye,Matey, under me buccin' hat ! That's right kids, the terrible humor has returned !

Geothermal at 2500 degrees....hmmmm. Kinda dusty there, and the 'Hot Springs would roast your 'goodies' I'm afraid.

How about a Decommissioned Missile Silo in the Dakota's? Quiet, and safe from 'drive-byes'................. :? :D
