I hope your site is successful. I won't be hanging around since I'm not a "local", but just wanted to wish you well.

You are in breach of the forum rules, locals only.

I misinterpreted Local as LOCO. Do I still qualify to be here? Good Job Coalman. Cheers to a successful run.

Sure the more the merrier. I'm going to be putting a few ads in the local Sunday papers this week. Hopefully it will fill up, like I posted over at videohelp.com there's nothing that even comes close to this board available locally. Just hope I don't get clobbered on the bandwidth, if it was used like it is over at videohelp I would run out in 2.5 days.

My host won't shut it down but I'll probably have to upgrade and shell out some more coin.

Post your PayPal address and get support. You can also offer premium memberships, if it gets to a certain point. People can use the regular forums, but if they want to post in the classifieds and a few other areas, then you charge for it. But keep it reasonable and more people will be attracted to it. I would do what I could to keep the costs as low as possible or without cost.

I wish I could take the credit, the only thing I did was some of the graphics and some the formatting. Most of the credit has to go to the wonderful people who did the coding, open source.....what a concept. It would take me months if not years to learn how to do this.

I gotta watch myself I hit the edit button instead of the quote button and almost edite your above post.

It wasn't really a slack off and relax, still tweaking and I did have to edit some code, the images etc.
