flue gas temperature

i have a efm model DF 520 installed in january ...can someone help me ? what should the flue gas temperature be at the outlet ? and where should it be measured ? i know there are a lot of factors involved but i am thinking i can get a relative reading and use that to see what effect my adjustments have on the boiler. just[size=150] another feedback. thanks kent[/size]
