Still Burning

There was a few days last week with temps in the 70-90 range that I let the stove go out. Back burning for 3 days now, stove
putting out about 40% capacity, house is perfect temp and the oil burner is quiet. Life is good!

Switched over to Pea coal in the Basement #4...
I am able to keep the fire low enough to make the house 72*...
With minimal windowstat action...
Back to the damp and raw Cape Cod spring weather that is the norm...

Keystoker 90 top vent just cruising with the Coal-trol. With the old Buderus hand fed window stats would be working overtime. This stove setup is amazing. The control is oustanding. The Keystoker is in the family room in the basement, idleing along on the warmer days and kicking it up a few notches with the cooler, damp weather of today. 27 years with the hand fed has been a good ride, but the future of coal burning with the Keystoker looks brighter than the golden years I have to look forward to.

Looks like I will relight today. The oil burner came on this morning. :( Cold weather is only good for snuggling. ;)
