What a team of morons, well you can't say they didn't give the lion a chance LOL.

That air burst gun was quite impressive... wouldn't want to be the poor sucker hiding behind a berm or concrete wall thinking I'm safe. Something similar that I saw a while ago was bullets that could change there trajectory in flight, not a whole lot but uses for sniping and automatic fire are obvoius.
As for the Lion, I was rooting for the lion too. I'm not against hunting but shooting something just because it's there isn't exactly my idea of hunting.
Not a gun nut myself however I do own one gun, Sig Sauer P226 made in West Germany.

Another nut here,... I mean gun nut. I have several custom varmint rifles, mostly built on the Remington 700 action. I also have several bench rifles, Panda actions, Viper, and a few other made for benchrest actions, I shoot 6mmPPC, and 6mmBR off the bench.
My varmint rifles are .221 Fireball, .223, .223 Ackley, 22-250, 6BR, .243 Ackley, .260 Rem Ackley, .220 Swift,
I love Nightforce scopes, have three 12x42, and one 5x15 Nightforce scopes, and several 8x32 Burris and numerous Leopold as well.
I can't wait to shoot some this year, now that I have had my cataract surgery, and have 20/15 vision in my right eye, I can't wait to see how much more I can see through the scope.
It was pretty hard to see well through a rifle scope when you end up lookng through the upper left corner of the eyeglass lens, the vision is not corrected very well through that part of the lens.
